Review: ELF Studio Presicion Liquid Eyeliner `Black`

Saya itu punya love and hate relationship sama produk-produk ELF. Tau kan ELF? yup, produk drugstore US yang super murah meriah dengan pilihan produk dan warna yang super berjibun. Ya walopun kalo udah masuk di Indonesia, harganya juga masuk harga standar sih (walaupun cukup terjangkau juga). Kalau kalian belum kenal sama produk-produk ELF, kalian bisa lihat produknya di website ini. Dari ratusan item di website, saya udah pernah coba lumayan banyak item, ada yang saya suka benget, ada yang biasa aja, ada yang benci banget, haha. Walopun banyak produknya yang gagal di saya, tapi saya gak pernah kapok buat coba-coba. Salah satunya produk yang mau saya bahas ini nih, ELF Studio Precision Liquid Eyeliner.

Eyeliner ini ada di line Studio-nya ELF yang kalo di web harganya $3. Kalo masuk olshop indo sih harganya 40rb-65rb rupiah. tergantung belinya dimana. Kalo ada yang nanya saya biasanya beli produk ELF dimana, kalian bisa baca postingan saya di sini.

Dari segi kemasan, liquid eyeliner ini dikemas di kemasan tube hitem yang panjang banget. Kemasan ini menurut saya rada aneh, soalnya bagian tutupnya ukurannya lebih panjang dan berat daripada bagian yang ada isinya, bikin salah sangka waktu buka, padahal kan normalnya kemasan eyeliner yang lain tutupnya lebih pendek atau ringan daripada bagian yang ada isinya, ato bisa d bedain dari warna bagiannya. Sebenernya agak gak penting d bahas sih, tapi beneran loh saya 2 kali lagi buru-buru dan gak lihat dengan bener waktu ngebuka bisa kebalik bagian yang d tarik dan berceceran keluar deh itu liquid eyelinernya.

Bagian kuasnya sangat tipis, panjang, kokoh, tapi fleksibel. Sangat mudah dengan kuasnya ini membuat garis mata dan wing. Tebal dan tipisnya garis pun bisa di kontrol dengan kuasnya. Mau eyeliner yang tebal garisnya, atau yang tipis banget hampir hampir mendekati garis bulu mata juga bisa. Menurut saya sih, kuasnya bener-bener mewakili namanya yang `precision`.

Konsistensi eyelinernya sendiri cukup cair dan runny. Pigmentasinya juga medium. Walopun gak yang super hitam pekat dengan sekali oles, tapi cukup lah kalo mau buat garis mata yang tipis dengan sekali oles. Mungkin karena teksturnya sangat cair itu ya, eyeliner ini lumayan lama keringnya pemirsah, 30-45 detik saya nunggu eyeliner ini bisa benar-benar kering.

Ini pertanyaan yang paling sering kalo ngomongin soal eyeliner,  soal ketahanannya. Smudgeproof? Iya banget, dari pagi sampe siang, saya berkeringat sama sekali enggak smudge atau beleber. Waterproof? sayangnya enggak, haha. Jadi kalo yang mau pake sampe waktu sholat, dan harus di buat wudhu pasti bakal beleber. Tapi nilai plus lainnya, eyeliner ini gak flaky alias berguguran seperti serbuk gitu kalo udah di pake lama. Jadi selama gak kena air, ketahanannya cukup bagus.

Kesimpulannya, produk yang satu ini juga masuk di kategori produk ELF yang `biasa` aja buat saya. Saya suka sama bentuk kuasnya yang tipis, kokoh dan fleksibel, formulanya yang gak flaky dan smudgeproof. Buat kalian yang masih belajar pakai eyeliner liquid dan selalu kesusahan sama kuasnya, boleh d coba pakai ELF ini. Kuasnya sangat membantu. bikin garis yang tipis dan rapi Sayangnya eyeliner liquid ini gak bisa di pakai wudhu, jadi ya pake eyeliner ini kalo mau dipake bentar aja.

Hola..holaaa, Hari ini saya mau bikin review eyeliner lagi, eyeliner yang udah saya janjiin di beberapa postingan buat saya bikin review lengkapnya ( di sini dan sini). Dan akhirnya hari ini saya bikin juga, hahaha. Kali ini mau ngomongin Milani infinite liquid eyeliner, eyeliner cair dengan staying power paling dahsyat yang pernah saya coba, dan jadi andalan saya kalo lagi butuh makeup yang tahan seharian, penasaran? yuk langsung ke review nya...

• nothing special with the packaging,but this milani`s tube is quite bulky comparing with another liquid eyeliner.

Kemasannya khas produk milani, ada warna emas-emas nya, biasa aja menurut saya.. haha, tapi kemasan nya cukup besar loh, gak mini seperti kemasan eyeliner cair yang lain. kalau kalian pernah tau kemasan eyeliner cair merk Pixy, itu kan cukup besar ya, milani ini lebih besar dikit, jadi makan space yang lumayan kalo buat di bawa-bawa di pouch makeup yang tipis.

The aplicator

• The aplicator is quite big,flat and not so pointed, so it is a little bit difficult to created a thin and winged eyeliner.

Bentuk kuasnya yang seperti ini kadang buat beberapa orang menyusahkan buat di pakai, khususnya buat kalian yang suka pakai eyeliner super tipis, karena bentuk kuasnya tidak runcing membulat, dan waktu di oles kuasnya cenderung datar. Saya kurang tau ini pas kebetulan punya saya aja atau memang bentuk nya begitu, ujung-ujung kuas yang saya punya seperti gak rata gitu, jadi harus pelan-pelan pas mengoleskan eyeliner nya, biar garisnya bisa rapi.

Kalau kalian penggemar bold eyeliner, pasti suka dengan jenis kuas begini, karena gak perlu berulang-ulang pas mengulasnya.

Formula :

• Thick and creamy
• Not watery or runny
• doesn`t have any scent
• it takes a while to dry

Formula eyeliner ini sangat kental, eyeliner paling kental yang pernah saya coba, biasanya kan kalau eyeliner tekstur nya rata-rata berair gitu, jadi pas di oles terasa basah, tapi milani ini enggak, lebih kental. Mungkin karena formula nya yang terlalu kental, eyeliner ini membutuhkan waktu yang lama buat kering, ya lamaaa... saya menunggu hampir 3 menit supaya eyeliner ini benar-benar kering dan gak nempel di lipatan mata. Jadi buat kalian yang buru-buru saya gak rekomendasikan pakai eyeliner ini, pasti belepotan.. haha.

Color & Pigmentation :

• Available in 8 colors: everlast (deep black), infinite (electric blue), unlimited (brown), Timeless (grey), Forever(Bronzed gold), nonstop (navy blue), Endless (purple), Eternal ( bright green)
• mine is everlast, the color finish is a matte deep black, not glossy at all
• very pigmented and opaque, one swipe is enough to get the actual color.

Waktu pertama kali saya oles, saya pikir milani ini hasil akhirnya bakal glossy, tapi ternyata setelah kering dia jadi matte, saya sendiri lebih suka hasil akhir yang matte, dan menurut saya di pasaran jarang ada eyeliner cair yang hasilnya matte. Pigmentasi nya sangat bagus, warna hitamnya sangat pekat dan keluar, satu kali oles saja sudah cukup, jadi gak perlu di tumpuk-tumpuk waktu mengolesnya.


Performa :

• this eyeliner is totally waterproof, even after got shower,this eyeliner not gonna budge or smear, and still stays nicely.
• this is a super long wearing eyeliner,milani claims it will stay for 24 hours. and it is true! this eyeliner will stay for 24 hours even more.

Saya beri nilai A buat water resistant nya eyeliner ini. Ini jenis eyeliner yang gak bakal luntur walaupun kalian pergi berenang, mandi, wudhu, cuci muka, bahkan nangis- nangis.. haha. karena kalau saya habis mandi,cuci muka, eyeliner ini selalu masih nempel dengan rapi, gak beloboran kemana-mana

Klaim nya eyeliner ini bisa tahan sampai 24 jam, dan saya sudah buktikan pakai eyeliner ini selama 24 jam.. haha.. bulan november kemaren saya nganterin suami perform band ke bandung, dan saya milih naik bis buat ke sana, saya pakai eyeliner ini dari jam 10 pagi sebelum berangkat, dan eyeliner ini tetap nempel selama perjalanan ( tentunya saya di perjalanan pasti tidur dan kucek-kucek mata) dan sampai keesokan harinya, waktu sampe hotel dan mau mandi saya ngaca dan kagum kalo eyeliner saya masih tetep nempel Biasanya kalau eyeliner cair kan suka nglentek-nglentek gitu kalau kelamaan di pakai, dan berakhir dengan hilang entah kemana.. haha... pokoknya eyeliner ini staying powernya kereeeen.

Dan tentunya karena staying power dan waterproof nya keren banget, buat bersihinnya juga perlu usaha ekstra keras, harus berkali-kali sampe bener-bener bersih, seperti bersihin mascara jadinya, huhuu

1. Jam 07.00 pagi, baru di apply-langsung di foto, masih kelihatan banget glossynya
2. Jam 03.00 sore, hasilnya matte, itu udah saya pake wudhu 2x, masih tetep nempel dengan rapi
3. Jam 05.oo sore, habis saya pakai mandi dan gosok-gosok mata kenceng banget,cuman kelihatan bagian ujung mata yang memudar, lainnya mash rapi, (note: itu IRL nya masih tetep sama warna nya, sama hitam pekat, bukan abu-abu seperti di foto,berhubung cahaya nya kalo sore udah jelek, jadinya kurang sejelas foto pagi atau siang kalo di foto.)

Waterproof test :

 

1. Eyeliner setelah kering di guyur pakai air yang deras banget
2. Selesai di guyur, eyeliner sama sekali gak bergeser atau luntur
3. Ini setelah saya gosok-gosok, kenceng banget gosoknya... sekuat tenaga, tetep gak bergeser atau luntur sama sekali.

Application tips:
Karena aplikator bawaanya kurang begitu bagus bentuknya,  buat mempermudah aplikasinya, saya lebih memilih pakai angled eyeliner brush ( kuas eyeliner tipis yang ujungnya miring), jadi kuas angled nya saya oles2 kan di ujung aplikatornya, setelah itu baru saya ulaskan ke mata, selain jadi lebih gampang dan rapi hasilnya, produk yang di ulaskan juga gak terlalu banyak, jadi bisa lebih cepet kering.

Overall,
Saya secara pribadi suka banget sama eyeliner ini, karena staying powernya dan warna nya yang hitam pekat. tapi saya memang gak pakai eyeliner ini buat sehari-hari, karena bersihinnya butuh usaha ekstra.. haha. tapi buat kalian yang memang cari eyeliner yang staying power dan waterproof nya oke, saya sangat rekomendasiin Milani infinite liquid eye ini.

Hi Friends, today i`m back with another beauty stuff review.  If you ever read my post here (click), i put this item on my makeup wishlist for over a year ago. However, i don't know why i always ended up to trying another eyeliner.  I decided to bought it on last month and after testing out this eyeliner for a while, today i`m gonna reviewing it.

 This eyeliner is available at US drugstore, such like an cvs, target, walgreens, etc . if you are live in Indonesia, you can buy this eyeliner by preorder.

- comes in black and twisted up packaging but doesn't retractable, so be careful. ones you twisted up the pencil, you can not retract it back.

Color & finish :

- it sets on eyelid very quick, just wait for a few seconds and this eyeliner will stay very well like an liquid eyeliner or gel liner

Texture & pigmentation :
- the texture is really soft, creamy, glides on, smoothly on your eyelid without tugging it.
- if you ever tried the milani liquif eyeliner, the master drama almost have a same texture with milani.
- the pigmentation is great. it's super rich and opaque. a light handle is enough to get the color.
- i need 1 swipe only each time i apply it.

Lasting power :
- it stays pretty well on my eyelid. although it claims for 24 hours staying power, for sure i would not used the eyeliner for 24 hours. i put it on 7 a clock and it stays until 6 pm.
- sometimes  if i`m doing a lot of outdoor activity, this eyeliner will be little bit smudge on my lower lash line.

Waterproof test:

 -this eyeliner is waterproof enough,
-mid pict : it stays very well before i rubbed it. right pict: a little bit fade after i rubbed my hand

My verdict :
Having this eyeliner is really made me happy. it such an great eyeliner. I love Milani liquif eye before but milani comes in standard pencil packaging and i hate to sharpened that milani very often. it is like i`m wasting a lot of product while i`m sharpened.
The twisted up packaging of this maybelline is a plus point, it's really travel friendly and easy to use. I would not suggest to have this if you love to having an pointed eyeliner since this eyeliner doesn't come's with a sharpener,but it doesn't matter to me because i like to have an bold liner than a thin and precise liner.
the best part about this eyeliner is the texture and pigmentation. it's super smooth, creamy and deep black. makes me really easy to apply it.

Ranee R-Matic Eyeliner (black) Review

it's been long time since my last Indonesian cosmetic product review by last year and today i`m going to take another Indonesian local brand again.
before i start, i wanna say thank you so much to all of you my friends who supported me a lot to keep writing a products review, especially for Indonesian brands. it means a lot to me. i feel so honor if my reviews useful to other people to get an information about that product.
so ya, let's get started.
 

Today is an eyeliner review from Indonesian brand and yes, this is a retractable eyeliner from Indonesian brand.
The brand is called Ranee, sounds so excited right?? this is my first time i found a local eyeliner with retractable packaging, feel free to let me know  if you found another.
so here is my review, not a super long post but i hope u can get the necessary point about this product.

Product name : 

Ranee R-matic eyeliner black

Price : 

IDR 25rb / $2 k
 

Packaging:
- twisted up / retractable
- plastic material
- nothing fancy from the design just blue stick with product name and logo printed on it.
 

Texture :
- decent
- it's quite soft and creamy, not over creamy like a gel pencil texture but it's not too harsh like a pencil liner too.
- it's quite easy to lining your eyes without tugging your eyes but don't imagine this liner will glides on smoothly.
- the texture is better than maybelline master liner (click here)

Color & Pigmentation :
- the color is medium deep black. it's deep but not a blackest black like a milani liquid eyes or pixy gel liner.
- the pigmentation is good, you can lining your eyes with one stroke only, it's enough to created an opaque eyeliner

Swatch :

Left 3-4 strokes, right 1x stroke

Waterproof test : 

This eyeliner is quite waterproof. it's not gonna fade until you rubbed it hard. see the pictures below,

Staying power :
- really good, this liner stays very well on my eyelid for 4-5 hours and last until 8-9 hours.
- pretty smudge-proof. i didn't look my eyes become a raccoon eyes when i'm using this liner but i still can see a little bit drip of the eyeliner on the outer corner eyes. see the pictures below, 

note : i took the last picture at 5 pm after i get a shower..


my experience :
i'm so happy found this eyeliner. it's totally cheap and the quality is good enough. i definitely prefer Ranee matic eyeliner than a maybelline master liner. it's more pigmented and creamy and the staying power is good. i'm happy too with the retractable packaging. I loved to use an retractable than a pencil eyeliner because it's easier to use and no need to sharpen for every application. So ya, i always keep this eyeliner on my makeup bag. it's very convenience to use it as a touch up purpose. i'm sure to always repurchase it.

Review : Maybelline Eye Studio Lasting Drama Gel Liner ( Black )

Hi friends, this is my first post on February. It's about maybelline eye studio liquid eyeliner in` black`. If you read my 2012 beauty favorite, you already know that my HG eyeliner is pixy gel liner. It's cheap and amazing but as a makeup junkie, i can't deny to tried another new items and collect them especially when i saw a sale offers on a beauty counter.. LOL
About this eyeliner, i really curious to tried since a long time ago. I have read a lot of good reviews for this gel liner but i think for the drugstore price, this gel liner is quite expensive. It's about IDR 100k ($10) and i`m not gonna spend $10 for a drugstore eyeliner..hihhi.. But lucky me, i bought this gel liner when the maybelline counter offering 30% disc for this eyeliner.. haha..quite a good deal.. so here is my review

The long wearing creamy gel texture provides the desired intense lines with a smooth, even application.

Price :
RRP IDR 98k / $10 .. but i`ve got this item on sale price IDR 65k / $6.5.

Packaging : 

Its come in a tiny glass jar, with a screw top cover

An eyeliner brush is  include

Its contains 2.8gr of gel liner

Color : 

Black, but not a blackest black eyeliner color

Matte finish, looks so natural

Pigmentation : 

It's good enough, i only need 1-2x swipe to get an opaque color actually but i always apply on 3-4 swipe to get an super black color since the colors is not so deep black.

Texture : 

Very creamy. i think the texture is more have a cream texture than a gel texture

Glides on very smoothly

It takes a long times to dry. so it's not good enough when you apply this eyeliner in hurry.

The brush : 

The bristles is very soft

Handy size, thin and tapered. so it's good to control and precise lining.

Staying power : 

It last for 7-8 hours perfectly on my oily lids, very good

It's smudge proof too

Waterproof test : 

I`m doing a waterproof test comparing with pixy gel liner. as you can see here, they both are waterproof.
i rubbed my hand very hard, pixy gel liner is still stay very well but the maybelline one is a little bit fade, as long as i don't rubbed my eyes very hard, the maybelline will stays on my eyes very well.

Can you see the color comparasion? thats why i loved pixy gel liner so much...hehe

Overall : 

This gel liner is a good option for you if you`re looking for an creamy texture, natural black color, easy to use and good staying power eyeliner. The brush is a plus, you can created from thin to the thick eyeliner easily with this brush..
